myTIQS protects event organizations & ticket buyers from extortionate prices.

Tiqs introduces MyTIQS "This further protects fans and event organizers from unauthorized ticket sales."

Buyers can then download their tickets only to their smartphones using the MyTIQS App. "The app securely stores the tickets and displays a QR code for access to the event only before the start," said Vincent Bus and Peter Roos.

After successfully introducing Tiqs as a QR ordering platform in 2020 at Thuishaven Events (Amsterdam), the platform has been further expanded over the past year to include reservations and ticketing.

In Belgium, Tiqs has rapidly become the market leader by combining payment options with the QRCode, reservations and ticketing.

By combining vouchers, e-mail marketing and notification campaigns (mobile campaigns), the company differentiates itself from other QRCode ordering, booking and ticketing parties in the HORECA & event industry.

With also adding MyTIQS to this spectrum, this modus operandi sidelines the unauthorized secondary ticketing market.

MyTIQS still allows the buyer to resell tickets. The conditions in this can be set by the event organizer. "Don't turn your earlybirds/fan tickets into a sales model for someone else!" For example, the event organization can set the maximum price at which resale is allowed. The difference between the purchase price, the resale price and the current price published by the event organization is paid to the event organization. This prevents earlybirds, fantickets, wave tickets offered at heavily reduced prices by event organizers from becoming another person's earning model. Tiqs is unique in this.

The tickets are through this mechanism, fully traceable. A combination between "closed" and "open" tickets is just possible, therefore the event organizer has even more flexibility.
